Until you make the unconscious conscious, it will rule your life and you will call it fate.
This is a version of a powerful statement by Carl Jung, who was an explorer of the mysteries within each of us.
To be human is to experience the sensation of being pulled from within in two or more directions. This is known as the divided will. Have you ever set a goal to create something, lose weight or start a new workout routine, only to find yourself doing the opposite? This is an example of the divided will. Part of you wants to write a book, create a painting, lose weight, quit smoking, get in shape, while another part lies in your depths. Shrouded in mystery, this deeper self has other ideas.
The divided will results from conflicts with unexplored regions of your self. When you get to know what, or who is in your unexplored self, you have the chance to transmute the contents into vitality, and learn to make peace with your self. The goal of Tarweed Mystery School is to offer instructions for how to access these areas of the self and begin to work with them. The project of uniting one’s will is called, The Great Work.
The Great Work is a challenge, an obsession, an adventure. Many of us have been taught that we should not explore our own depths. We are told that you have to appeal to someone who has been anointed by some institution to act on your behalf and interpret these realms for you. While there are many people who have done the work and are qualified to help with this journey, this is your very own self we are talking about. You are the best judge of how you would most wish to embark on The Great Work. If you don’t know how to do this, we will have tools for that as well. The expert on you is you. You are the Mystery!
